We recently purchased a 4-bedroom, 4-bath condo in North Myrtle Beach, SC for use as a vacation rental. As in any business, having a good team is a major reason for success. Betty Robey and her team at Saltwater Grande have exhibited the professionalism, experience, effectiveness, integrity, and efficiency We were looking for. Betty handled every detail, and there were many, with poise, grace, and a degree of professionalism that’s not easy to find these days. In our opinion, she is peerless! The time from accepted offer to closing was only 45 days. So, all activities were compressed into that short time frame and required her total attention to get everything done right and on-time. It all went as smooth as possible without a hitch. Betty and our attorney, Scott Umstead demonstrated how a good team effectively meets, and then surpasses the needs of their clients. Even before the closing, Betty was designing the interior space, presenting ideas, and ordering furnishings that would best position this property to maximize its potential. She hired contractors and other professionals to get the space ready to rent as quickly as possible to take advantage of as much of the rental season as possible. She put a complete description of the unit on her web site to attract potential renters even before there were pictures to post. Reservations have been steadily coming in, sight unseen, for June and July. Can’t ask for a better beginning.
